Because Only Together We Can
Help Arizonans Affected By Cancer
Who We Are
The Full of Hope foundation was established to honor the memory of our friend and colleague, Gloria Full.
Full of Hope provides financial assistance to patients and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis in Arizona.
The foundation also provides educational assistance in the form of a scholarship for students pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), with a desire to work in the oncology field.
What We Do
01.
— Patient Support
We provide hope to families dealing with a cancer diagnosis through financial support. This allows families and patients to alleviate some of the financial burden in order to focus on rest and recovery.
02.
— Educational Support
To best honor the memory of Gloria Full, we provide financial scholarships to students who are obtaining their Master’s in Social Work with a desire to work in the oncology field.
03.
— Program Support
We provide funding to cancer support organizations that provide unique treatment and rehabilitation options for patients, in order to improve their outcomes and quality of life.
Impact Stories
“I want to thank you and your donors for the financial assistance provided to me. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in the summer, and began chemotherapy a month later. My diagnosis was devastating, not only because of all of the pain and physical challenges, but because of the unknown ways it would affect my future. During chemotherapy I could not work my normal job and quickly ran out of PTO/sick pay and what little savings I had.
I am so grateful to Full of Hope for the support I received. The financial support I received allowed me to focus more on my healing/recovery and less on the anxiety of my finances. I am happy to report that my Lymphoma is in remission. I hope to one day buy a home and start a family, and it will be because of the generosity of others that I am able to afford my post-cancer dreams.”

“When someone is diagnosed with cancer, cancer becomes a full time job in itself. There is a battle of the fear of death, lack of direction, a million appointments, a million bills, and it is so taxing on one’s health to fight. I handled all the paperwork, appointments, and searching for assistance while working full time to help my father when he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. My father is legally blind, lives alone, and has no other income except his monthly SSI. When cancer struck, we had no idea how we would ever be able to afford his fight to survive.
I just want to say thank you on behalf of my father and myself for being there so he would be able to afford his bills while paying for treatments. You were a huge blessing in our darkest hours. I am happy to say that he beat the cancer and is now cancer free. There is no way this would have happened without an organization like yours. Many hugs and thanks!”

"Thank you, Full of Hope foundation. During this difficult time, I am truly thankful for organizations such as you. Behind the name of your organization is really the people who are giving hope. Good people! In this crazy world, sometimes we wonder where the good is. I’m grateful I can be part of receiving hope, and I hope one day to give it to someone else to help them push through. Financial help is truly a blessing but the openness to give is the ultimate blessing. Thank you."

"We greatly appreciate the money you gave us. We needed it desperately and it was used for our bills this month. May God bless you all, and I know God has a special place for good people like you."

"You have no idea how much it means to have caring and compassionate people out there. And you have no idea how the help of foundations like your help those of us going through all of this cancer stuff, to relieve the burden of wondering how our bills will be paid. Quite honestly, "thank you" doesn't even seem enough. So with that said, I am extending my very deep, heartfelt gratitude to all who work at this foundation. I pray for many blessings for each and every one of you!"

"I wanted to take the time to thank you for the grant. I am currently in treatment for stage Iv breast cancer. I live with my daughters and husband in Phoenix. During summer, we fell behind on our electric bill. The social worker at my oncology clinic told me about your foundation. I applied for help with my electric bill, and when I was approved the weight was taken off my shoulders. I was able to relax and not worry about my utility bill. Your support helped me get back on track, ever since receiving the help I have been able to pay my bills on time, with no late fees! Thank you for the donation and helping my family during this critical time in our lives.""
