June 15th is World Kidney Cancer Day, a global day of awareness and advocacy for kidney cancer. The International Kidney Cancer Coalition (IKCC) has set the theme for this year to be “Living well with Kidney Cancer.” They are hosting a symposium for kidney cancer patients and caregivers to find support and resources. Kidney cancer is the 11th most common cancer in the world, and it is the 14th leading cause of cancer death. It is estimated that over 430,000 people will be diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2023.
